Days of thunder

Cole Trickle a hot shot sprint car driver gets recruited to get a new race car team off the ground and his Crew chief they bring back has been out of nascar for a long time problem is Trickle knows nothing about Nascars or cars and cant tell the team what the car is doing while he is racing and they have to firgure out how to get the car right and to get Trickle to stop breaking his car and racing hard with others then he gets in a wreck with his rival at the big race in Daytona and has allot of problems with it but him and his doctor start a relionship and it has its ups and downs along with the relionship with the other driver who he was in trouble with the other driver asks Cole to race his car at Daytona the next year and Cole says he will and wins the race. The Nascar action is very real looking and is done really well.

Rookie of the Year

A freak little league accident where kid slips on a ball and breaks his arm where the tendons make the arm tight and gives him a major league pitching arm. him and his friends go to Wrigley field and watch the bad cubs play where a home run is hit up to them in the bleachers he throws the ball back all the way to home plate and the cubs look for him and sign him to a contract where the manager keeps mispronucing his name and a silly goofy pitching coach and a washed up pitcher who shows him the ropes he gets comfortable and his mom never is comfortable with the whole situation and his stepfather gets jealous of the pitcher who is helping the kid and tries to conspire to get money from the kid and the owner cooks up a plan to trade him to New York where his mom fires him and breaks up with him. The end the Kid pitches the cubs into the playoffs and and the old pitcher Chet Steadman gets involved with his mom.

The Firm

A young brash lawyer Mitch McDeere is a law student at a law school in Massachusetts and he gets recruited by a law firm in Memphis that has a very big secret and is being investigated by the FBI for over billing employers and the FBI recruits Mitch to get some evidence for them which is against client lawyer privilege but Mitch firgues
out the firm has his house bugged and knows everywhere he is and doing he gets his brother out of prison in exchange for files from the FBI. Mitch sleeps with a girl who is hired from the firm in the Cayman Islands to blackmail him against his wife who he tells about it. then allot happens and his wife goes to the Cayman's to help Mitch and they get some files down there and it happens where he keeps his license and the firm is brought down.The movie has long shots of conversations and has allot of close shots of emotion.

The Wizard of Oz

Dorothy and her dog Toto go through a tornado in her home state of Kansas and get swept to a magical land called Oz. They are met by the Munchkins of oz and show Dorothy how to get home is to go to see the wizard and ask him to get them home. She follows the yellow brick road to the wizard on the way she meets a scarecrow who needs to get a brain a lion who needs courage and a tin man who needs a heart they go through a bunch of different obsticles including the wicked witch of the west who wants the red slippers off of Dorothy's feet that belonged to her sister the wicked witch of the west. the crew get to the castle finally and go and talk to the wizard who is actually just a man behind a curtain. Dorothy finds out all she has to do is click her heels three times and say no place like home to get home. This movie has been remastered digitally and was an expensive movie for its time in 1939.
