The Pink Panther

A silly movie about a french soccer coach who is killed by a poisonous dart during a soccer game and has his large pink panther diamond ring stolen. The Chief calls in Jacques Clouseau to solve the case so he thinks. The real meaning behind bringing in Clouseau he is clumsy and very awkward he has some weird methods that make him look like a fool. And Chief Dreyfus has all his best men on the case to solve the crime and get the thief before Clouseau does. Dreyfus has one of his men with Clouseau to tell him what is going on with the case. Well Clouseau is nominated for the highest prize in France for a cop and Dreyfus takes him off the case but by the time that happens Clouseau has solved the case and embarrased Dreyfus. This is a slapstick comedy movie with very few believable parts of how a cop really works but it works in the movie because it is not supposed to be believable.
