The Story is about the rich who lives above ground and the working class who have to work and live under the city of Metropolis the Leader of cities son is guided by a woman who wants him to see what it like underground he goes under ground and sees how bad it is for the workers and vows to help them. The way they center the camera of the faces of the people is really good to show the emotion of the peoples faces to really get the story across. And the undermining of the Father to keep the people underground to not listen to his son. The Struggle between rich and poor the son vs the father is a very good story line the Machine woman made to just decive and keep the workers going. the special effects are well in front of there time.The man who made Machine man has tricked the leader frederson to revolting with violance. the Story ends with Freder his father and Grote the leader of workers coming to a middle ground..
